AMPCOLOY® 972 for High-Temperature Heat Transfer Applications
Thermal Conductivity Performance Relative to CuAl10 at Elevated Temperatures
AMPCOLOY® 972 maintains its thermal conductivity advantage over CuAl10 even at elevated temperatures of 600 to 650°C. For applications where high heat transfer is the primary requirement and mechanical properties such as hardness and tensile strength are not critical, AMPCOLOY® 972 is a suitable replacement for CuAl10 in this temperature range.
