AMPCO® 18 for Wheel and Axle Applications in High-Temperature Ovens

For trolley wheel applications operating in oven environments at temperatures around 200°C, with a stainless steel 316 axle, AMPCO® 18 is the recommended wheel material. To address the risk of seizure during assembly, Molykote grease should be applied at the time of installation. Although the grease will dry out over time during operation, the initial application will help prevent early-stage galling and extend the service life of the assembly.
