Performance Parameters for AMPCO® 18.23 and AMPCO® M4 in Sliding Applications

Maximum Surface Speed, PV Values, Friction Coefficients, and Temperature Range

The following performance parameters apply to AMPCO® 18.23 and AMPCO® M4 in sliding applications:

AMPCO® 18.23: maximum surface speed 3 m/s, PV value 5 (N/mm² x m/s), coefficient of friction 0.18, operating temperature range from -200°C to +400°C.

AMPCO® M4: maximum surface speed 2 m/s, PV value 9 (N/mm² x m/s), coefficient of friction 0.23, operating temperature range from -200°C to +450°C.

These values should be used as reference parameters during component design and material selection. Final application suitability should be evaluated against actual operating conditions.
