Maximum Operating Temperature for Nickel Aluminum Bronzes
Temperature Limits for AMPCO® 45 and AMPCO® M4
Above approximately 350°C, the mechanical strength of nickel aluminum bronzes begins to decline.
For this reason, operating temperatures exceeding 350°C are generally not recommended for AMPCO® 45 and AMPCO® M4.
Applications approaching or exceeding this threshold should be carefully evaluated to ensure that the required mechanical performance can be maintained throughout the service life of the component.
