Alloy Recommendation for Applications Requiring Up to 400 N/mm²

For slide bearing applications requiring a maximum allowable surface pressure of 400 N/mm² at very low sliding speeds, AMPCO® M4 is the recommended alloy. Given the demanding load requirements, a trial should be conducted to confirm that the material behavior meets the customer's specific performance expectations. No guarantee on outcome can be provided without application-specific testing.
