# AMPCOLOY® 940 for Plastic Bag Sealing Bars

## Performance Assessment for Consistent Temperature and Seal Quality

For plastic bag sealing bar applications operating at temperatures between 275°F and 285°F (approximately 135°C to 140°C), AMPCOLOY® 940 is a proven choice. European experience with this application confirms that operating temperatures remain consistent, heat does not dissipate too quickly, and the required seal quality is reliably achieved. AMPCOLOY® 940 offers a performance improvement over chromium copper C182 in this application, particularly in terms of dimensional stability and temperature consistency.
