AMPCOLOY® 940 offers excellent corrosion resistance to formaldehyde, making it a suitable mold material for applications in the medical industry where beryllium-free alloys are required. For applications where even higher corrosion resistance is needed, an electroless nickel coating such as Kanigen can be applied to further improve surface performance.
