Material Recommendation for Low-Speed, Low-Pressure, Elevated Temperature Use

For a threaded nut in a linear actuator application with slow movement, low pressure, and an operating environment reaching up to 350°F (approximately 177°C), AMPCO® 18 is the recommended alloy. Its combination of wear resistance, sliding properties, and thermal performance makes it well suited to this type of low-demand but thermally elevated application.
