Acceptable Surface Pressure for AMPCOLOY® Alloys

Reference Load Limits for AMPCOLOY® 944, 91/95, 88, and 83

The following acceptable surface pressure reference values apply to AMPCOLOY® alloys under normal operating conditions:

AMPCOLOY® 944: 160 MPa AMPCOLOY® 91/95: 130 MPa AMPCOLOY® 88: 140 MPa AMPCOLOY® 83: 200 MPa

These values should be used as upper design limits when sizing components, with appropriate safety factors applied based on the specific loading conditions and application requirements.
